I’m Sammy, a photographer based in Highcliffe, Dorset

I live by the coast with my partner and our dog Lotus. I spend a lot of my time outdoors, usually on the beach or exploring new places with my camera. That love for being outside naturally shapes a lot of the work I create.

I photograph across Dorset and Hampshire, and I’m always happy to travel further afield for the right project.

  • My approach is all about creating a relaxed, stress-free experience so you can feel completely at ease in front of the camera.

There’s no pressure to pose or “get it right”, I’ll guide you where needed, but mostly I’m capturing the moments as they happen. When you feel comfortable and present, it naturally comes through in the images.

  • Playing rugby was a huge part of my childhood until I was diagnosed with Scoliosis at the age of 12. I underwent spinal surgery shortly after and lost a big part of my identity. My parents gifted me my first camera in an attempt to help me find a new hobby. I spent my recovery days in the garden photographing my dogs, flowers and anything else I could find. My passion for photography grew and grew and here we are almost 20 years later!
